Did you know that not all pounds are created equal?
You know how some people say 5lbs. is 5lbs? Well…not so much…Look at the difference!
Gives you something to think about, right?
This isn’t about vanity, or looking like a model (they look hungry anyways, right?!) This is about quality of life and the health effects that being over weight has on a body.You may not even know if you do have too much body fat on you, Have you ever been tested?
A good way to know is to go a personal trainer or doctor. They have BMI machines (Body Mass Index) that test how much body fat you have. You may be surprised! A general rule of thumb is a healthy woman is between 21-24% and a healthy man is 17-20%, however a professional can better assess what is healthy for YOU.
